Educational Background

After graduating cum laude from the University of Toledo’s law school, Mr. French pursued a Master of Law degree at New York University receiving his LLM in Taxation in 1978.

Admitted to Bar

Mr. French was admitted to the California Bar in 1977 and currently practices in Fresno and the central San Joaquin Valley area.

Member / Associations

Mr. French is an active member of the Fresno County Bar Association (Secretary, 1986; Treasurer, 1987; Vice President, 1988; and President, 1989). He is also a member of the State Bar of California and their Business Law Section, Real Property Law Section, and Tax Section. Mr. French has an AV Preeminent Rating, which is the highest peer rating for professional excellence.

Specialized Fields

Mr. French’s law practice specializes in business transactions, taxation, and estate planning. Business transactions encompass business entity formation and maintenance, including corporations, partnerships, LLCs and partnerships, lease review and preparation, entity and asset purchases and sales, real property purchases and sales, business contracts and tax ramifications. Estate planning encompasses trusts and wills, trust administration, and probate.
